Talking to myself...

...but that's o.k.
It's been a weird stressful week or so for a variety of reasons, one of the big ones being the de-sexing operation on little Lefty. She has a bunch of nasty stitches and a plastic funnel on her head, it's horrible. Can't wait till she can get those stitches out- only 4 more days to go...hopefully.

Lots of creative impulses, but not sure where to start to make them happen. Nice to see my "Grow" collage has had so many views on Etsy. It can be so intimidating to see all the amazing work other people have out there on the internet, but inspiring too. I wish I could stand the idea of "selling myself"- self promotion just is not my thing.

Brydie Dyson

The other day Ben and I tried out a gorgeous new cafe in Thornbury called "Pippa May Cook" and apart from delicious food, they also had some beautiful art cards by Brydie Dyson and I bought this one which I intend to frame.
I love the subtlety of this- she has such a delicate touch.
They also had the two Heather Moore teatowels I bought and posted on a while ago too, so these ladies have excellent taste.

On a more boring note, I have been having a few dramas with comments on my blog, so I apologise for that, hopefully it's fixed now.

Just received this great article from the Sustainable Gardening Associations newsletter: It's very entertaining and a brilliant idea.
Lawn Phobic's Great Mission
He hates lawn mowers almost as much as lawns. Read how a self-confessed 'horticultural nuffy' took control of his garden.

Grapes aplenty

It's an early Autumn this year it seems and we've been harvesting our beautiful grapes and juicing them. The poor juicer is getting a work-out, but the juice is divine.
